    SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

    Every year the Wisconsin Title I Association is proud to help graduating seniors pursue their dreams by awarding up to three $1,500 scholarships. All recipients have been in a Title I program sometime in their school career.
     

    Wisconsin Title I Association Student Scholarship

     

    Dear Title I Coordinator/Counselor/Principal,

    The Wisconsin Title I Association will be awarding up to three $1,500 scholarships to high school seniors from Wisconsin. A scholarship committee will choose the student recipients from the Association. The scholarship will be awarded to the recipients at the Wisconsin Title I Association's spring meeting.

    The scholarships are available to students to further their education by pursuing a two-year certificate or four year degree. Students who apply must have been in a Title I/Chapter I Program sometime during their Early Childhood through Grade 12 school career. Public as well as private school Title I/Chapter I students are eligible to apply.

    The Treasurer of the Wisconsin Title I Association directly to the school/college that the recipient will attend will make scholarship payments.

    APPLICANT MUST:

    ·         Be a resident of Wisconsin

    ·         Be a graduate of an accredited high school

    ·         Show a sincere desire and interest in furthering his/her education

    ·         Plan to attend an accredited university, college, or two-year technical college

    ·         Have been in a Title I/Chapter I Program between early childhood and grade 12

    ·         Submit the scholarship form postmarked by midnight, February 17, 2010 to:

    Upon further study of the applications, a member of the scholarship committee may interview individuals who qualify.
